Honnold Twin Creek Family Farm Scholarship

The Honnold Twin Creek Family Farm Scholarship supports junior and senior students majoring in programs leading to teacher certification who intend to teach at the K-12 level at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship requires demonstration of financial need and gives preference to graduates from specific Illinois high schools in a prioritized order: Kansas High School, schools in Edgar County, and schools in Clark County. This renewable scholarship recognizes students pursuing careers in education across various subject areas including elementary education, special education, and subject-specific teacher certifications in areas such as art, mathematics, science, English, foreign languages, social sciences, physical education, music, and theatre arts. The award is announced in the spring semester and disbursed in the fall semester. Recipients may reapply for the scholarship in subsequent years provided they continue to meet all eligibility criteria.
