Honorable Cecilia Johnstone Adversity Award

The Honorable Cecilia Johnstone Adversity Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing in any year of the JD degree program in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. The recipient will have demonstrated how they have overcome life challenges and obstacles, financial or otherwise, to attend university. This endowed award was established by family, friends and colleagues of Justice Cecilia Johnstone to recognize students who have persevered through adversity to pursue their legal education.
