Honourable Mr Justice Yaroslaw Roslak Memorial Bursary

This annual bursary is awarded to a graduating student with satisfactory academic standing from the JD degree program in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes Justice Roslak's devotion to the rule of law and the Canadian Justice System. Recipients are selected based on a combination of academic standing, demonstrated financial need, and a demonstrated interest in civil liberties and human rights as evidenced by enrollment in optional courses related to these areas. The bursary is endowed by Syncrude Canada Ltd and Davis LLP in memory of The Honourable Mr Justice Yaroslaw Roslak.
