About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a motivated and high achieving physics honours student who wishes to undertake research into the design, fabrication, and characterization of photonic integrated devices operating at terahertz frequencies. The scholarship is offered to students who have an unconditional offer of admission or are currently enrolled full-time or part-time in Physics Honours within the School of Physics at the University of Sydney. Recipients must have achieved a Distinction average, or equivalent, during their undergraduate studies. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and a brief statement outlining the applicant's interests, particularly in the context of designing, fabricating, and experimentally characterizing photonic devices. Applicants may be shortlisted for an interview, and the award decision is made by the supervisor of the Honours project and the Head of School of the School of Physics.
