Hook Moor Wind Farm Community Fund

The Hook Moor Wind Farm Community Fund supports local community groups, voluntary organisations, and environmental projects that fight poverty and enrich lives within the boundaries of the Hook Moor Wind Farm. Located just east of Leeds, this fund specifically benefits communities in the parishes of Aberford and Micklefield in West Yorkshire. The fund covers a wide range of activities including promotion of energy efficiency, environmental protection, health and wellbeing initiatives, regeneration, improvements to community facilities, education and training equipment, and social welfare activities such as lunch clubs and food banks. The fund is administered by Point North on behalf of OnPath Energy, which is committed to generating power from renewable technologies. Applications are assessed within 12 weeks, and grants of up to £3,000 are available to eligible organizations with charitable aims, including community groups, voluntary organisations, playgroups, youth clubs, sports clubs, environmental projects, and schools for non-statutory projects.
