About this opportunity
The HOPE Foundation Scholarship for Research on Ageing is designed to support University students in the early stages of their careers conducting research into ageing. Established in 2003, these scholarships are intended to encourage research into ageing phenomena to help prepare New Zealand for an ageing future. The HOPE Foundation for Research on Ageing is a non-Government funded Charitable Trust established in 1996, with a mission to lead and resource the funding of people conducting research on ageing, disseminate research-based information about the effects of ageing on individuals and society, increase the pool of researchers in New Zealand, and influence decision-makers to improve the quality of life for ageing New Zealanders. Applications are accepted from a wide range of disciplines in line with the Foundation's philosophy of encouraging eclectic research into ageing and its effects on individuals and society. The scholarship may be renewable for up to three years on application, with recipients expected to report progress annually and provide a final report on completed research.
