About This Opportunity

The HORIBA Scholarship is offered by HORIBA Foundation UK, a leading global company specialising in analytical technology and measurement devices. This scholarship awards two students studying eligible science and engineering programmes at Northumbria University with £2,000 per year during their undergraduate studies, totaling £6,000 over three years. The scholarship aims to support students from underrepresented backgrounds in higher education, including those from neighbourhoods with low progression rates to higher education, students from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds, and students with declared physical/mental health conditions, long-term illness, or learning differences. Beyond financial support, the scholarship offers coaching and mentorship opportunities, as well as visits to HORIBA's UK facilities. The program is designed to enhance the overall university learning experience and inspire students who may not otherwise attend university to pursue their dreams in science and engineering.
