About this opportunity
Set up as a legacy of the War Memorial Cottage Hospital in Horncastle, the Horncastle Health and Wellbeing Fund supports not-for-profit community groups with projects relating to mental health and wellbeing for the residents of Horncastle. The Fund aims to distribute £13,200 per year to eligible community groups.
The objective of the Fund is to assist with the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the residents of Horncastle. Grants of up to £2,000 are available for projects delivered within a 10-mile radius of Horncastle, with priority given to projects within Horncastle itself.
The fund prioritises smaller grassroots organisations and operates on a biannual application cycle with closing dates on 1 March and 1 September each year. Decisions are typically notified within 6-8 weeks of the closing date, and payments are normally made in advance. All funds should be spent within a year of receipt unless otherwise agreed with the fund manager.
