About this opportunity
The Hotel Association of Tarrant County Scholarship supports students pursuing hospitality-related education at Tarrant County College. This merit-based scholarship is available to students enrolled at TCC Southeast Campus who are pursuing either an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Hospitality Management or a Certificate of Completion in related fields including Hospitality/Travel & Tourism, Meeting & Event Planning/Convention & Group Management, or Restaurant Operations. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 and enroll in at least 9 credit hours. The scholarship gives preference to applicants planning a career in travel, tourism, or other hospitality-related fields. Recipients may receive a spring scholarship renewal if they achieve a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall. Students must either take at least one course in the hospitality-related field or have been employed by a HATC member hotel for a minimum of six months before the award period.
