Household Economics Class of 1955 Internship/Practicum Award

The Household Economics Class of 1955 Internship/Practicum Award is awarded to a student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 enrolled in either the Integrated Dietetic Internship component of the BSc in Nutrition and Food Science degree program or the practicum component of the BSc in Human Ecology degree program at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of a planned internship or practicum program taken outside the province of Alberta. Preference will be given to a student with a placement at the Hospital Infantil De Las Californias in Tijuana, Mexico. This award is funded by endowed funds provided by members of the Household Economics Class of 1955, in recognition of their 50th anniversary of graduation.
