Howard and Beverly Murray Memorial Scholarship

The Howard and Beverly Murray Memorial Scholarship honors Howard Murray, who spent his life teaching and motivating students in the field of chemistry. This scholarship supports dedicated, high-achieving academic students with interests in math and science who are pursuing higher education. The scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Chelan or Douglas County high schools who maintain a minimum 3.4 GPA and plan to pursue further education in mathematics, physics, calculus, chemistry, or other math sciences at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. The scholarship will be awarded upon application approval but payment is deferred until the recipient is officially accepted into their program major at their chosen institution, at which point a letter of acceptance must be provided.
