Howard and Lois Skidmore Scholarship

The Howard and Lois Skidmore Scholarship is awarded to students at Eastern Illinois University who are graduates of Villa Grove High School in Villa Grove, Illinois and who participated in athletics while in high school. The scholarship is designed to support students who meet these specific criteria and demonstrate a connection to the Villa Grove community through their high school experience. Recipients must be accepted or currently enrolled at Eastern Illinois University. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester. Recipients may be eligible to reapply for this award in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the stated criteria.
