Howard Palmer Memorial Scholarship

The Howard Palmer Memorial Scholarship was established in recognition of Howard Palmer, a professor at the University of Calgary from 1973-1991. This scholarship is offered by family, friends and colleagues of Howard Palmer to honor his legacy and contributions to the field of History. The scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Arts, majoring in History. The award is based on academic merit, with preference given to students who have completed a course in Canadian History with a minimum grade of B+. This award provides financial support of up to $3,800 to help outstanding history students continue their undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary.
