Härke Konstcentrum Artist-in-residence

Härke Konstcentrum Artist-in-residence is a residency program for professional artists residing outside Jämtland County, Sweden. The program provides a one-month free residency at Härke Konstcentrum on Frösön, including access to guest accommodation and Östersund's collective graphic workshop as a workspace. The residency includes a stipend of 30,000 Swedish kronor and an offer to exhibit at Ahlbergshallen in Östersund within two years of receiving the award. The purpose is to promote exchange with artists from other parts of Sweden and the world. The program is supported by Östersund Municipality and Region Jämtland Härjedalen. Artists must be professionally active and not enrolled in secondary or higher education. A jury consisting of three artists selects the resident artist.
