HRSA Health Workforce Scholarship Programs
About This Opportunity
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Bureau of Health Workforce offers scholarship programs to help students pay for their health professions education. These scholarships provide comprehensive funding including tuition, required fees, monthly stipends, and reasonable education costs. In exchange for scholarship support, recipients commit to serving in underserved communities at eligible facilities for a minimum service period. Three main scholarship programs are available: the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program for nursing students, the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program for students pursuing careers in primary health care, and the Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program for Native Hawaiians pursuing careers in primary and behavioral health disciplines. Each program has specific eligibility requirements and service commitments ranging from two to four years minimum.
