Hörselforskningsfonden

Hörselforskningsfonden was established by the Swedish Hearing Association (HRF) in 1989. The fund awards grants for medical, behavioral science and technical research related to hearing, hearing impairments, treatments, diagnostic methods, improved communication, development of hearing aids and the situation of hearing-impaired people in society. Applications are accepted annually between September 1 and October 1. Each project can receive a maximum of 400,000 Swedish kronor. In December 2025, the fund distributed 2.4 million kronor to seven research projects.
