Hudson and McGowan Scholarship

The Hudson and McGowan Scholarship is awarded to Massey University graduates pursuing postgraduate study in agriculture or horticulture. The scholarship provides approximately $4,000 for one year of full-time study. It is supported by a combined fund from endowments from the late H. W. Hudson of Auckland in appreciation for agricultural training received by his son William, and the late Edgar Augustus McGowan, an engineer from Auckland who wished to commemorate his father Daniel Joseph McGowan. The scholarship recognizes high achievement among Massey University graduates who are enrolled full-time in postgraduate degree or diploma programs with a focus on agriculture or horticulture. Multiple awards are available annually.
