Hugh and Mabel McAfee Memorial Prize

The Hugh and Mabel McAfee Memorial Prize is offered annually to a student or students of outstanding merit in Biochemistry in the first year of Medicine at the University of Alberta, provided the student's record is otherwise satisfactory. The award may be divided at the discretion of the Faculty. This prize is funded by endowed funds established by Mrs. LB Pett of Ottawa, in memory of her parents Hugh and Mabel McAfee. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application and do not need to submit a separate application for this award.
