Hugh McColeman Engineering Leadership Scholarship

The Hugh McColeman Engineering Leadership Scholarship is awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering their first year of an Engineering degree program at the University of Alberta. Recipients must have an admission average of 85% or higher and will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and/or community activities. The scholarship recognizes both academic excellence and demonstrated leadership capabilities. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. This scholarship is funded through annual funds by Hugh McColeman, a BSc Electrical Engineering graduate from 1936.
