Human Services Distinguished Student Award

Established in 2016, the Human Services Distinguished Student Award is available to students enrolled full or part-time in any Human Services program at Lakeland College who have completed a minimum of 2 semesters of study. Four awards in total are given annually. Two awards are given for academic perseverance and are based on showing academic improvement from Semester I to Semester II of studies, and demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and commitment to their program. Two awards are given for leadership and are based on demonstrating academic achievement and displaying positive attitude, good work ethic, and leadership skills. Each award provides $500 to support continuing students in Human Services programs.
