Hunt Environmental Biology Award

The Hunt Environmental Biology Award is a scholarship for junior or senior students majoring in Biological Sciences with an Environmental Biology option at Eastern Illinois University. The award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding character, genuine commitment to the field of environmental biology, and high scholastic achievement with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0. Recipients must be full-time students and maintain their commitment to the field. Financial need is considered only as a final consideration when all other criteria are equal. The award is announced in the spring semester and awarded in the fall semester. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the Eastern Illinois University scholarship portal.
