Hunter Postgraduate Scholarship

The Hunter Postgraduate Scholarship was established by the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation in 2004 to celebrate the centenary of the Hunter Building. This scholarship is designed to encourage and support students to pursue postgraduate study at Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship is awarded as a fees contribution to the top-ranked applicant across all disciplines who applied but does not receive a Wellington Master's by Thesis Scholarship. The scholarship provides up to $5,000 towards fees, subject to available funds, for one year of study. All applicants who have applied and submitted an application for the Wellington Master's by Thesis Scholarship will automatically be considered for this scholarship, and no separate application is required.
