Hussar Family Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award

Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, entering or enrolled in the third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Food Business Management, the Bachelor of Science in Animal Health or the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Preference will be given to a student from a farming or ranching family. Students are eligible to receive one Bar None award or scholarship in any given academic year. This award is endowed by Simon and Helen Hussar, long time farmers near Innisfail Alberta and their son, Nick Hussar (BSc Ag 1956, MSc 1958, and PhD 1965), who was employed in the Canadian Feed Industry.
