Hyresbidrag

Hyresbidrag is a rental subsidy grant offered by Ystads kommun (Ystad Municipality) in Sweden to support associations that rent facilities deemed significant for leisure activities. The grant is designed to partially cover rental costs, operational costs, and other expenses incurred by associations in the previous year. Priority is given to associations with children and youth activities, though other associations may also apply. The subsidy is based on the organization's actual costs from the previous calendar year and is intended to support facilities that the municipality considers essential for the operation of the association's activities. Operational costs eligible for subsidy include property insurance, heating, electricity, water and sewage, waste management, sludge emptying, chimney sweeping, environmental fees, fire inspections, and rental costs. The grant does not cover member insurance, depreciation, loan amortization, federation fees, honoraria, office supplies, telephone, or costs for new investments. For associations with children and youth activities, submission of a children's rights plan (Barnrättsplan) is mandatory. The maximum annual rental subsidy is 50,000 SEK.
