Hywel Davies Scholarship

The Hywel Davies Scholarships were established thanks to the generosity of William Hywel John Davies who kindly left a gift to Birmingham in his will. Hywel (BA French and Spanish, 1977) enjoyed his time at Birmingham and wished to give something back to support future generations of French and Spanish students. The Hywel Davies Scholarship is valued at £2,000 per academic year, excluding any years abroad. Up to two scholarships will be awarded each year to undergraduate students in the Department of Modern Languages studying either French or Spanish.
