Ian McLaren Memorial Scholarship

The Ian McLaren Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled full-time in the second or consecutive year of an undergraduate programme in the Division of Education at the University of Waikato. The scholarship provides financial support of $5,000 NZD to students who have demonstrated strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of B+. This scholarship honors the memory of Ian McLaren and supports the continuation of studies in education. International students are eligible for this scholarship if they have completed at least 120 points of study at a New Zealand university. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and commitment to education studies at the University of Waikato.
