About this opportunity

The IBB Gadigal Advanced Merit Scholarship was established in 2019 to assist Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students undertaking the Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides financial support to students who have completed one year of full-time undergraduate studies and have an offer of admission to commence in these programs. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum and is awarded based on academic merit, a personal statement, an interview, and evidence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 50 each semester and continue full-time enrolment of 24 credit points per semester throughout the tenure of the scholarship. The scholarship is tenable for the normal duration of the degree and is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.
