IC-IMPACTS Innovative Technology Demonstration Projects

IC-IMPACTS continues to accept proposals under the Innovative Technology Demonstration Call, seeking proposals relevant to IC-IMPACTS themes including Safe and Sustainable Infrastructure, Integrated Water Management, Public Health, and Food Security. The program encourages the transfer of existing research and technology to communities, aiming to improve the health, safety, and prosperity of Indian and Canadian communities through the introduction of new technologies. The call focuses on deployment-ready stage projects that demonstrate technology adaptation, validation in community contexts, and proof of scalability and transferability to different settings. Symmetrical projects that take technology to the partner country are of particular interest, whether first demonstrated in Canada then in India or vice versa.
