The ICAS Foundation Programme empowers future accounting and finance professionals by providing financial assistance, mentorship, and career guidance to students from low-income backgrounds. The programme takes a holistic approach to student support, identifying talented students, providing bursaries to reduce financial pressures and cover essential study costs, offering personalised mentorship from sector professionals (usually Chartered Accountants), and providing career-ready support through access to internships, networking opportunities, and professional guidance. The Foundation works with partner universities across Scotland and England to deliver this comprehensive support programme to eligible students pursuing studies in accounting or finance.
