About this opportunity
The iddle Memorial Scholars award is offered annually to a graduating 3rd year student in the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary. This scholarship recognizes academic merit and demonstrated exceptional commitment and achievement in UCalgary Law's Advocacy (mooting) program. Candidates must have participated in the MacGillivray moot in each of their 2L and 3L years, as well as in at least one of the competitive moots such as Securities, Julius Alexander Isaac (when offered), Gale (when offered), or Vis Moot. The award honors exceptional achievement as an advocate in those moots, which can be demonstrated through coach recommendation and/or competition scoring. This scholarship was established by The Honourable John Charles Major.
