IDEA Photography Scholarship for Excellence

The IDEA Photography Scholarship for Excellence is offered by RMIT University for commencing students in the Bachelor of Photography program who demonstrate creative excellence in their photography work. This scholarship, established from funds donated by the Imaging and Digital Entertainment Association (IDEA) upon winding up its operations in 2022, continues IDEA's 35-year legacy in supporting photography education. The scholarship provides financial support up to $7,500 per annum for up to three years, making it worth up to $22,500 total. Selection is based on creative excellence demonstrated through submitted photography portfolios, selection tasks for program entry, and ATAR scores where applicable.
