IET Postgraduate Research Awards

The Institution of Engineering and Technology offers 7 postgraduate research awards each academic year valued between £2,500 and £10,000 each. All prizes recognise excellence and are awarded on a competitive basis. The awards include: IET Postgraduate Scholarship for an outstanding researcher (£10,000) to help researchers share their knowledge throughout the global science, engineering and technology community; IET Postgraduate Prize (one award of £5,000 and up to three awards of £2,500) to assist with research work in engineering leading to the award of a Doctorate; Leslie H Paddle Scholarship (£5,000) to encourage excellence in engineering and technology research, with a preference for electrical, electronic or manufacturing engineering; and Hudswell International Research Scholarship (£5,000) to encourage excellence in engineering and technology research, with a preference for electrical, electronic or manufacturing engineering.
