Ignite Your Success

Ignite Your Success is a comprehensive 3-year undergraduate programme at the University of Southampton for students from underrepresented backgrounds. This alumni-funded programme offers a blend of financial, academic, career, and personal opportunities to ensure students reach their full potential. The programme provides £3,000 awards and £10,000 bursaries distributed over three years of study, alongside tailored mentoring schemes, support accessing internships, social events with peers, and dedicated pastoral support. Key elements include peer and career mentoring, exclusive workshops, guaranteed paid internships in the first year, and a supportive community environment. The programme is designed to help students make key connections with peers, meet alumni and prospective employers, and receive insightful content from expert staff across the university including the Academic Skills Service, Student Wellbeing, Study Abroad, Financial Support Team, and the Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise Service.
