In-Country/In Region Scholarships Programme at SEARCA NRM (Scholarship for PhD's Studies)

The programme aims at fostering strong, internationally oriented higher education systems in Southeast Asia with the capacity to contribute to sustainable development. Scholarships are granted for development-related PhD studies for individuals who plan to pursue a career in teaching and/or research at a higher education institution in Southeast Asia. The In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme supports studies in subject areas with strong relevance to national development. The scholarships are available in fields including Environmental Science, Sustainable Land Use and Natural Resource Management, Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, Environmental Biotechnology/Engineering/System and Modeling, and Planning and Management of Coastal Area and Watershed/Geography at partner institutions (UPLB, KU, IPB, UGM, UPM). Female applicants and candidates from less privileged regions or groups are especially encouraged to participate.
