About this opportunity
Thanks to the generous financial support of Professor Janet Hiller, Inaugural Dean of Health Sciences at Swinburne, this Scholarship has been established to support and encourage a postgraduate student continuing their studies in Health Sciences. This scholarship will be awarded to a high-achieving postgraduate student, who has experienced disadvantage, to continue their education in one of the following disciplines at Swinburne: Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy. The scholarship provides a one-off payment of $5,500 to support students who meet specific eligibility criteria including being an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, New Zealand citizen, or international student enrolled full-time in an eligible postgraduate course. Preference is given to students who hold an undergraduate degree from Swinburne and who have experienced various forms of disadvantage including low socioeconomic status, financial difficulty, disability, family responsibilities, relocation from rural areas, or identification as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
