About this opportunity
The Independent Student Bursary (ISB) is a financial support program for eligible students in Scotland. Students can receive up to £1,000 per year if their household income is £20,999 or less annually and they meet other eligibility conditions. This bursary is administered by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) and is designed to provide additional financial assistance to independent students alongside student loans. The total support package for independent students includes both the bursary and loan components, with the total amount varying based on household income. If household income exceeds £21,000 per year, students will not qualify for ISB and their living cost support will be provided entirely through student loans. The bursary is available for full-time undergraduate students studying on campus at Robert Gordon University in Scotland, excluding those on Nursing and Midwifery courses. Applications must be made directly to SAAS.
