About this opportunity

The Indigenous Australians Leading in Business Global Executive MBA Scholarship is a tuition fee scholarship established by the University of Sydney Business School to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing the Global Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA). The scholarship was established in 2017 with the goal of accelerating the rate at which Indigenous Australians move into senior leadership roles within all forms of Australian enterprises. This scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees for the full duration of the Global Executive MBA program (1.5 years), provided the student remains enrolled full-time. The scholarship does not cover the Student Services and Amenities fee (SSAF), travel costs, or in-country fees for residential units of study. Applicants must be Australian citizens who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, hold an unconditional offer to the Global Executive MBA program, and not concurrently hold other University scholarships that provide tuition fees. Selection is based on academic merit, leadership potential, personal integrity, interview performance, a personal statement, and demonstrated commitment to making a positive difference in business practice.
