About this opportunity
Made available in 2016 by Alberta Innovation & Advanced Education, the Indigenous Careers Award is available to students of Indigenous ancestry (including Status Indian/First Nations, non-status Indian/First Nations, Métis, or Inuit). The award supports students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and Alberta residents. Students must be enrolled full-time with a minimum 60% course load and display satisfactory academic standing. Eligible students must be enrolled in a certificate, diploma, applied or bachelor's degree program at Lakeland College. Students enrolled in apprenticeship technical training, integrated training, pre-employment or non-credential programs are not eligible. Proof of Indigenous ancestry is required for application.
