About this opportunity
The Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship is part of the Commonwealth Scholarships Program funded by the Australian Federal Government. It aims to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial hardship, particularly those from remote and regional areas. The scholarship provides financial support to help with the costs of studying at Curtin University. The program is designed specifically for current students of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent who are enrolled in eligible undergraduate or enabling courses and who can demonstrate financial hardship and low socio-economic status. Priority is given to students from regional or remote areas of Australia. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress with a course weighted average of at least 50 each semester and remain enrolled in their eligible course of study.
