Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarships (ICAS) Mid Year

The Commonwealth Government offers a significant number of scholarships each year for Indigenous students studying at the University of Adelaide through Commonwealth income support scholarships. The scholarships are to assist Indigenous students from low socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those from rural and regional areas, with the costs associated with higher education. Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, such as details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, including Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances. Students must not concurrently hold an Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship with a Student Start Up Loan from Centrelink.
