About This Opportunity

The Indigenous Commonwealth Education Scholarship (ICES) is designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing higher education at RMIT University. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help eligible students with their living costs while undertaking associate degrees, bachelor degrees, or postgraduate coursework programs. The scholarship offers up to $7,000 per year for full-time students and up to $3,500 per year for part-time students, paid on a per-semester basis for the standard duration of the program. Preference is given to students who can demonstrate financial hardship and who have relocated from rural or regional areas to study in Melbourne. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance and demonstrate continued commitment to the RMIT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community through participation in cultural and social activities organized by the Ngarara Willim Centre.
