Indigenous Entrance Award

The Indigenous Entrance Award is offered to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or Métis peoples of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2). The award is available to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing, and recipients must provide eligible documentation of Indigenous identity to receive funds. This entrance award aims to support Indigenous students as they begin their undergraduate studies.
