About this opportunity
The Indigenous Graduate Student in Public Policy Studies Scholarship was established to assist students who are pursuing a Masters or Doctorate degree at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. As part of an initiative of the Provincial Health Council, supported by the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF), this scholarship will fund an Indigenous graduate student whose studies lie in the area of population health research. The scholarship is valued at up to $4,000 and is available to one recipient annually. Recipients must be self-declared Indigenous students (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) who are accepted as fully-qualified graduate students pursuing a Master of Public Policy, Master of Health Administration, or Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy at the University of Regina. The area of study must lie in population health research, and students must maintain a minimum cumulative CGPA of 80% and remain registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the term the scholarship is presented.
