About this opportunity
The Indigenous Graduate Students in Education Scholarship was established in 2018 to encourage and support deserving Indigenous students who are pursuing graduate studies in Education at the University of Regina. This scholarship recognizes Indigenous graduate students (First Nations, Inuit or Métis) who are enrolled in graduate-level programs in Education, including Master's certificates, degrees, or PhD programs. The scholarship supports both full-time and part-time students and places emphasis on community involvement and may consider financial need. Recipients must demonstrate their commitment to community involvement through a one-page statement and may also provide a statement of financial need. The scholarship aims to promote Indigenous participation in graduate education and support their academic journey.
