About this opportunity
This award supports graduate students in completing degree requirements, professional development in their field and/or research efforts that are not supported via other means. The award is specifically designed to support Indigenous graduate students affiliated with the Electa Quinney Institute for American Indian Education at UW-Milwaukee. Awards will be given to support travel, site visits, research presentations, needed research supplies, and other research-related activities. Recipients are expected to demonstrate how their research and activities provide reciprocity and participation within the Electa Quinney Institute (EQI) community and how their work contributes to and supports building within Indigenous communities.
