About This Opportunity

The Indigenous RISE Scholarship (HE) supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in a higher education (undergraduate or postgraduate) course at Swinburne University or Swinburne Online to realise their potential and engage in their studies with success. This scholarship payment aims to help students to purchase initial resources such as IT equipment, course-specific equipment including tools, textbooks, journals, stationery or public transport passes, to ensure students have everything they need to reach their full potential. The scholarship is valued at $2,000, paid in two instalments across the year. Recipients must be 1st or 2nd year students in 2026, enrolled full-time in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate degree, and must be Australian citizens who confirm their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage. Applicants are also required to connect with an Indigenous Student Advisor through the Moondani Toombadool Centre at the commencement of their studies.
