About This Opportunity

The Indigenous Technology and Engagement Scholarship aims to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at Swinburne University with access to specific technical, IT equipment or resources to remain engaged in their chosen course of study. This scholarship is open to students studying an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Higher Degree by Research course. The scholarship provides a one-off payment of $1,500 to assist with technology and equipment needs. Applicants must be Australian citizens of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage, be enrolled at Swinburne University in 2026 either full-time or part-time, and demonstrate educational disadvantage such as financial difficulty, disability, relocation from rural areas, or being first in family to attend university. Recipients must connect with an Indigenous Student Advisor through the Moondani Toombadool Centre at the commencement of studies.
