The Indigenous University Bridging Program Bursary is awarded to full-time Indigenous students entering the Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) at Mount Royal University who intend to apply for a degree program. This bursary specifically supports students who have been out of school for at least one year before applying. The award is designed to assist students who are either under the age of 30 or over the age of 30 and parenting. The bursary provides $2,500 in financial support and is disbursed in two installments. Recipients must complete full-time studies in the fall semester, be registered full-time in the winter semester, and maintain good academic standing to receive the second disbursement.
