About this opportunity
The Ingvar Kamprad Scholarship is specifically designed for students admitted to the Master's Programme in Industrial Design at Lund University. Founded in 2001, it provides financial support through two types of awards. The scholarship for living expenses, established to help students with difficulties affording living costs in Sweden, awards SEK 124,200 per year (approximately EUR 10,600) to two students annually. This covers living and accommodation costs from August to July during the two-year study period and is open to all admitted students. Additionally, when tuition fees were introduced for non-EU/EEA students, the Stichting IKEA Foundation established scholarships covering tuition fees of SEK 245,000 per year for two years, with fees paid directly to Lund University. These tuition fee scholarships are exclusively available to non-EU/EEA citizens admitted to the programme. Selection for living expense scholarships is based on personal motivation statements, while tuition fee scholarships are awarded based on applicants' portfolios.
