Inishative Community Benefit Fund

The Inishative Community Benefit Fund supports community projects and initiatives within a 6-mile radius of the wind farm location in Northern Ireland. The fund prioritizes projects that improve community spaces, provide services for vulnerable populations, and enhance local quality of life. Priority areas include activities for older people, people with disabilities, children and teenagers, skills development, and health-related services. Given the remoteness of locations, consideration is given to local transport initiatives. The fund also supports outdoor and environmental projects that encourage healthier, more active communities while protecting the local environment. Additional focus areas include community events promoting interaction and cross-community engagement, encompassing cultural aspects such as music, drama, dance, and sport. Projects demonstrating collaboration, networking, and sharing of best practice receive priority consideration. The fund aims to address rural isolation and provide invaluable advice and information on key rural issues.
